EDUCATIONAL WORK

For the past two years, the bulk of my client work has consisted of regular, in-house illustration and comics work for MiaPlaza, Inc., the parent company for Miacademy, Always IceCream, CleverDragons, and MiaPrep. This is an online educational company focused on providing accessible and high-quality homeschool materials for families, from Kindergarten all the way through 12th grade. I work with the Content team on a project-by-project basis to develop and produce comics and/or illustrated assets to enhance lessons and teach supplemental material. A huge focus of mine is developing this work to be visually stimulating, educational, and age-appropriate. I feel so immensely fulfilled by this work, and it is my honor to have produced over 100 comics and counting for the company.
